The architects Jasmax found this to be true when they selected Triton 25 - 600 x 2400 mm tiles for the pitch roof ceilings of the new Wellsford War Memorial Library.
The high NRC 0.95, group 1S fire rating and the smooth reflective white of the Sonatex composite facing made Triton 25 a clear winner. But more importantly was Asona’s ability to produce custom sized perimeter panels to eliminate the need for an unsightly 100mm edge cut panel where the ceiling meets the walls, producing a cleaner result without compromising the ceiling aesthetic.
In the case of Hobsonville Point Intermediate School, one of the first public-private partnership (PPP) schools in NZ designed and constructed by ASC architects and Hawkins Construction used a modified grid & tile ceiling system developed and manufactured by Asona.
