Acoustic treatments for hospitality spaces.

Many restaurants and bars want to give their patrons exciting, high energy environments with cutting edge contemporary interiors often using hard building materials like glass, wood and concrete. The use of these types of materials can create spaces that are too reverberant for customers to be comfortable in. Asona’s range of acoustic ceiling and wall panels work together to control reverberation & sound levels creating acoustical comfort for the patrons.

In the newly refurbished Twisted Hop Bar in Christchurch, the solution was to float fabric wrapped acoustic Asona Cloud Panels™ with matching pendant light fittings under a black ceiling creating a sophisticated contemporary look whilst effectively controlling the room acoustics.

In the Wellington restaurant, Little India, the challenge was to control reverberation levels and provide an exciting decorative finish. The solution was to use high sound absorbing Asona Fabwall™ panels in 25, 50, 75mm thickness to create a 3D appearance wrapped in bright coloured fabrics that mirrored the stained glass window motif of the building.

St Heliers Bay Café & Bistro. This stylish up-market Auckland café and bistro has improved the level of acoustical comfort for its customers by discreetly installing Asona Baffle Beams™ to the ceiling, wrapped in pre-coated black Sonatex™ they blend into the black ceiling adding to the clean simple lines of the restaurant interior.
